There hasn’t been a more obvious time in history to challenge the way we do business.
After the recent changes in the world, there is a need to reframe how we approach business and build businesses. The Ideal Business Model came well before this need but has never seen a more appropriate time. At Invizbiz we are passionate about helping Entrepreneurs create their ideal business model.
The word Ideal will vary not only the type of business, but to a greater extent what the business owner’s personal ideal life and scene looks like. There is no wrong or right just what brings the business owner closer to this ideal life and what they are trying to achieve.
The Ideal Business Model is one which delivers to the Entrepreneur both their Personal and Business Ideal Scenes. The business ideal scene should be founded on the personal ideal scene. The ideal scene is like a Polaris star, or southern cross for us. It’s what guides you to exactly what you want in life. Because you define exactly what it is. This is the start point.
Framing up the Ideal Business Model I identified 10 criteria that should align with the business owners objectives and measure how ideal the business is.
The 10 criteria are as follows:
- Risk
- Scalability
- Independence
- Adaptability
- Efficiency
- Flexibility
- Cashflow
- Resilience
- Leverage
- Exchange
Scoring these out in your current business will give you an idea of where you are currently at in terms of an ideal business. Give yourself a score out of 5 for each.
Then take some time to think about your ideal business. What would that score? This will give you an idea of where some gaps are for you right now, where you focus should be and help get you back on track. Following your Polaris Star.
