To build an efficient business model whether you are a franchisor or just running a non franchise model, being efficient in the way that you operate the business is fairly critical.

One of the things that impacts efficiency is the need to service locations whilst you’re not actually close to them. And so then introduces efficiency. So for example, if you have team members servicing a location that might be one and a half or two hours away, that obviously reduces efficiency.  This is where the ability to scale in non ideal locations by building a franchise model, which includes all the key components of the delivery service.

For an example of what we’ve done with the Resicert businesses after having delivered over 50,000 inspections nationally, we’ve continually refined the business model and so the service process, the way in which we engage with clients, the way in which we share reports, the way in which the communication cycles take place with the various stakeholders.

And through this process, we’ve been able to continually improve the efficiency of the service delivery and business.

Having the experience and expertise across many locations enables much more insights into how to Improve the business. Because franchising is, in essence, a partnership model between the franchisor and the franchisee.

You have business owners as partners that are wanting  to make it more efficient to increase their  productivity as this leads to more revenue and more profit. Not only for your business but their business.

By having a spread of dedicated business owners as part of your network, you’ve got a lot of feedback that we’ll come back to continually improve different parts of the business. And so that’s been an iterative process and it never really stops. This is a  distinct advantage of having a business model such as franchising in which you are partnering with a significant number of  other businesses.
